Although our main focus is on the education of neighborhood youth,
we also work on community service projects whenever possible.
In addition, we often have the opportunity to participate in community events (see photo).

OUR COFFEE PROJECT
In 2014 we began Our Coffee Project. Our main purpose for doing so was and remains our effort to find a stable means of income with which to continue our work in Guatemala. Especially the Educational Projects.
Our basic business model is that of direct buy. We deal directly with the growers and eliminate the middle men who have been known to enjoy more profit from the coffee production than the growers. In addition to providing for our Educational Projects, another aspect of our program is our plan to share some of the profit with the growers to encourage them to improve their production methods.
Thus, when you purchase Family Coffee you are supporting two very worthwhile causes: (1) Caminando Education Projects and (2) helping the growers improve their growing methods.
